Valeo is known locally and internationally as a very unique entity that truly executes when it comes to developing elite soccer players AND extraordinary human beings.  How do we do that?

1.  A Highly Credentialed Staff of Experienced, licensed coaches, that are also great mentors with an honorable character and a caring and nurturing spirit.

4. A Proven Player Development Pathway that has developed over a dozen National Team and Professional players and has developed hundreds of College-Recruited athletes.
5. A Global Opportunity Initiative that provides elite players with immersion into European soccer including training, competition, and exposure through its international network.
6. A Superior Training Academy that (runs almost 24/7) is unmatched in the region, promoting and executing customized training of athletes to improve individual performance, led by master trainers.

• Team Training runs from mid-August through mid-June with a number of sessions per week dependent on age group and league of play.
• Individual Skill Clinics are offered weekday evenings during Fall, Winter, and Spring and provide exceptional training for individual players looking to significantly improve their skills that show at their very next game, and have fun doing it.
• Day Camps are offered during December, February, and April school vacations and for 8 consecutive weeks during the summer. All ages, all levels.

Games are played on the weekends Saturday or Sunday – League and age dependent.

EPDL games are held at the Valeo Sports Center on Saturday mornings.

NECSL Matches can be held anywhere in the state and sometimes in bordering states.  Our home field is Valeo Field at 125 Wells Ave. Newton MA.

MLS Next matches can be held anywhere in the northeast and may require overnight travel.

NPSL matches can be held anywhere in the northeast and may require overnight travel.

U9 through U11:  7v7 (U9) or 9v9 (U10&11) Fall and Spring Season. 

U12 through U14:  11 v 11 Fall and Spring Season   

U15 through U18.  11 v 11 Spring Only (tryouts/training begin in late November).  Given the high school teams’ required commitment, Valeo does not compete in league matches for this age group in the Fall. 

Fall season begins the week after Labor Day and ends sometime in mid-November. 

Spring season begins late March or early April (depending on snow conditions) and generally runs through the week prior to Memorial Day weekend. 

What Tournaments do Valeo teams compete in?

Tournament assignments are dependent upon age, league, and level of play.

All teams play in tournaments except for our youngest players in EPDL.

Tournaments are often played over holiday weekends:  Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas week, Presidents Day, Easter, or Memorial Day.

Teams will be notified of the respective tournament schedule at season commencement by the coach.
